A Testimony By Simbarashe Makonese
This is my testimony of how I overcame dreams of oxen and bulls.
Recently, I had a dream where I saw a herd of cattle and started to run away.
An ox is a spirit that attacks one's work to stop them from being rewarded for the fruit of their hands.
1 Timothy 5:18 (WEB)
For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle the ox when it treads out the grain.” And, “The laborer is worthy of his wages.”
Running or flying away from the ox shows that you are also praying to escape from the evil spirit, but you are lacking an understanding of your authority in Christ in relation to how to address such evil spirits in prayer.
Mankind was given dominion over all kinds of creatures, including cattle.
Genesis 1:26 (KJV)
"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the CATTLE, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."
God owns all creatures, including the cattle.
Psalms 50:7, 10 (KJV)
"Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God... For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills."
And the same God made you His own child and an heir of everything that belongs to Him.
Romans 8:16-17 (WEB)
"The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God; and if children, then heirs: heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified with him."
God created all angels and owns them, including Satan and his fellow rebels. This means that you own the devil and his fallen angels in the spirit the same way you can own a dog as a pet in your natural home.
Once you have this understanding, you will start to pray with authority commanding Satan and his angels the same way you would use your authority over your own dog.
The moment you start using your authority over this spirit, you will no longer dream of yourself running or flying away from such things.
Rather, they will be running away from you.
So when I had this dream I was running away from the herd of cattle led by a huge and menacing ox.
In fact, that morning, I prayed to ask the Lord to deliver me from the cattle, and that is how I was running away in reality.
I then changed the way that I was praying and took authority over the spirit of oxen.
In a few days from then, I had a trip to minister outside the country - and it was my first international ministry mission.
It required funding to process my documents urgently and all my itinerary (traveling arrangements).
My hosts told me that they experienced an unusual financial breakthrough on the day that I needed to start the process of my paperwork, and I had a very successful journey.
My wife and I have had positive dreams about our finances ever since, and the results are beginning to show significantly in reality.
